Don't delay for tickets to Hartlepool's wartime outdoor theatre show
People are urged not to delay if they want tickets for one of the main events in Hartlepool's commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War and the infamous bombardment of the town by the German Navy.
'Homecoming' - a spectacular new outdoor theatre show - will be performed in the Headland Town Square on Tuesday 16th December from 6pm to 7pm.
Created by internationally acclaimed theatre company Periplum, the show will use digital projection, pyrotechnics, specially commissioned music. lighting and other visual effects to tell the stories of local residents' contributions to the war effort, both on the home front and on foreign battlefields.
Entry to the show is free but is by ticket only - and the 1,650 available places are being snapped up quickly.
Tickets are available from Hartlepool Art Gallery & Tourist Information Centre in Church Square on 01429 890000.

Given the show's outdoor location, the audience will be required to stand. However, some seating will be available for people with special requirements such as the elderly and those with disabilities - people must advise of this when getting their tickets.
